Sportswriter Shapiro To Be Hosted By Alexandria Sportsman’s Club

Len Shapiro, the Pulitzer Prize-nominated sportswriter, editor, and columnist for more than 40 years for the Washington Post, will be the featured speaker for the April 21st meeting of the Alexandria Sportsman’s Club. Shapiro worked for the Washington Post from 1969 until his retirement in 2010. He covered high school and college sports before being assigned as the beat reporter for the Washington Redskins. ‘The Revolutionists’ Presented By Little Theatre of Alexandria

The Little Theatre of Alexandria is presenting a live, in-person showing of “The Revolutionists,” written by Lauren Gunderson, from Feb. 27 to March 20, 2021. The story portrays four sassy women lose their heads in this irreverent, girl-powered comedy set during the French Revolution’s Reign of Terror.
