“Love Letters” Presented By Little Theatre Of Alexandria
The Little Theatre of Alexandria is staging an in-person production of “Love Letters” from Sept. 11-27. The play is a humorous and emotional look at the love letters exchanged between two childhood friends taking place over a span of 50 years. The show is produced by Nick Friedlander and executive produced by Russell Wyland and written by A.R. Gurney.
According to the Alexandria Gazette Packet, "Because the rehearsals were held on Zoom, Henry said it was challenging because she bases a lot of her directing on feeling the connections with the actors, as well as their chemistry with each other. “However, our two actors are married to each other in real life, so I knew the chemistry was there, and it was nice to be able to have them in the same room, at the same table, for our Zoom rehearsals instead of in totally separate places miles apart,” she said."
As per Alexandria Gazette Packet, "Because tickets are free, donations of any amount are welcome. Donations may be made through Eventbrite when you order your ticket, in cash at the performance you attend, by calling LTA, or online by clicking the donate button on the website at http://thelittletheatre.com/opportunities/#donations. The theater is located at 600 Wolfe Street, Alexandria, VA 22314."
